Jackson County Public Health is hiring an HIV Prevention Coordinator to lead the efforts in ending HIV and decreasing the rate of sexually transmitted infections in Jackson County. This position will be working on system and education strategies to improve screening, testing and treatment of HIV and sexually transmitted infections.
HEP is seeking a full-time Care Coordinator to provide viral hepatitis and infectious disease testing, harm reduction services, health education, and comprehensive case management services aimed at reducing barriers to hepatitis C treatment and care. This Care Coordinator will predominantly engage in direct service with populations at designated encampments, with a focus in South King County and at HEP’s fixed site syringe service program in the International District.
This position will independently execute critical functions within the administrative core of the University of Washington / Fred Hutch Center for AIDS Research, including 1) managing purchasing, fiscal, and grant administrative actions for multiple pilot award programs and for the overall Center, 2) strategize and drive communications for the Center using multiple communications channels (email, website, social media), and 3) provide strategic planning expertise including strategizing and executing complex monitoring and evaluation activities across the Center.
Bring your compassionate experience in taking care of people with co-morbid conditions including people with substance use disorders, mental illnesses, and complex physical health conditions. Work collaboratively with outside agencies and assist with transitions of care from ED or hospital discharge. Opportunity to work with an underserved, disenfranchised homeless population.
