Presentation Details:
Latinos have experienced HIV disparities over the past decade and represent a fast-growing priority population in the U.S. HIV epidemic. The presentation examines recent progress in the fight against HIV in Latino communities and identifies remaining gaps in the national response, including persistent HIV prevention and treatment disparities. In addition, the presentation will highlight the Latino community response to HIV and associated priority areas for improving the national strategy.
